Adult Sunday School Classes
All adult classes at First Christian are open to visitors and new members. Classes begin at 9:00 a.m.
We invite you and encourage you to visit several classes and then choose that one that you find interesting, affirming and challenging!
The Mariners Class
This class meets in the east classroom behind the stage area in Snodgrass Hall. This class is taught by Joel Olson.
This class meets across from the Kids for Christ area, and is taught by Don McColl. The class uses the Uniform Series. As the name states they celebrate friendship with everyone. Some of the ways they do this is with a prayer chain in the class, monthly birthday celebrations and special celebrations.
Located behind Snodgrass Hall, members rotate teachers each Sunday, using Old and New Testament curriculum from David C. Cook. The Fellowship Class supports various chosen charity projects yearly. Currently the rotation of teachers include Harvest Riedt, Doniece Ray, Phil Woodall and Beverly Whittler.
Located behind Snodgrass Hall, this discussion oriented Bible study class is taught by Ralph Maxfield. This class meets in a room north of Snodgrass Hall. Our class uses the “Present Word” curriculum which is a topical study and scripturally based. We have outreach concerns and responses and class functions away from church during the year. About 30 members with 20 or so being there consistently. We work hard on loving each other.
