This Lent, we welcome you to the journey.

2020 Easter Lilies

You have the opportunity to glorify Christ and honor or memorialize a loved one by placing an Easter Lily in the sanctuary on April 12, 2020. Lilies may be ordered by filling out the form below and attaching a payment of $15.00 for each lily ordered ($25.00 for two). The lilies you purchase may be taken home after the worship service. Lilies remaining in the sanctuary will be donated. Acknowledgments will be made in the Easter order of worship. The cutoff date for ordering lilies is Monday, March 17. Payment is due when order is placed. Contact Kelley in the church office if you need any information or to turn in your order forms. You are welcome to turn your order form in the offering plate on Sunday mornings, as well. Order forms are available in the narthex or the church office or you can call the church office to place an order.

Scholarship Fund

There has been a scholarship set up at Brite Divinity School in the name of our very own Dr. John Bridwell. Several of our members wanted to see this happen so they have furnished the seed money to secure the effort. If you would like to participate you can do so by making your check to First Christian Church and marking it the “Bridwell Scholarship.” The President of Brite, Dr. Newell Williams, will be here and in worship with us on Sunday, March 15. Following worship there will be a meal in Snodgrass Hall honoring Dr. Bridwell and also gathering the of the flocks. We are gathering funds until March 8. If you need more info. call Ralph Maxfield, 806-435-0908.

Keys

Do you by chance have any church keys that you no longer need or use? If so, please return them to Kelley in the church office.
